GRADING & MARKING

Pattern grading: the process of turning base size or sample size patterns into additional sizes using a size specification sheet or grading increments. Here at Silkhands inc we can Digitize & Grade your pattern.

Pattern Marker: Once the pattern is graded, the fabric must be prepared for cutting. "Marking" refers to the process of placing pattern pieces to maximize the number of patterns that can be cut out of a given piece of fabric.
